David Ethan Sanders was raised in the unique society and environment surrounding the Los Alamos National Laboratory in northern New Mexico. He now resides in Los Angeles. David has blended his film education with a rare pragmatism and emphasis on practical experience.

David had produced a prolific collection of short films prior to obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Film from UC Santa Cruz. His early professional work included vignettes, title sequences and narrative segments for MTV's Peabody award-winning series "BioRhythm" and VH1's "Behind the Music". He served as director of photography on a variety of short films and small features prior to enrolling in the MFA film program at the Art Center College of Design.

Since then, David has accumulated an extensive array of experience as a commercial and narrative cinematographer, serving markets in China, Thailand and throughout the United States. His diverse client list includes NASA, Bratz and eBay. David served as director and cinematographer on a series of first-ever PSAs for NASA's Exploration program. This summer David will DP the feature-length follow up to the award-winning short "Bicycles and Radios" in Thailand.

David's short film "Microgravity" represents his ongoing determination to cultivate skills and imagery as a director as well as a cinematographer.
